My food suggestion is Au Bon Pain. It's a chain of bakery/cafes that you can find all over Manhattan, and the food is really good. Also, I never got there myself, but I know that Teri loves the Grey Dog Cafe in Greenwich Village. Have an awesome time! I want to hear all about it when I see you in Calgary!

your analysis of karaoke was very well articulated and made me crave the fear and thrill of singing horribly in front of strangers. I recommend this Peruvian Chinese restaurant in NY that I will have to ask my dad where it is and of course there's nothing like a sweet potato knish from that place on the LES to keep your insides warm for days.
I'm so jealous that you're going and getting to see Poparan while you are there.
