Lordy. So that's Christmas and such out of the way. Being addicted to 100 Best Shows, or generally any number of anything being counted down and discussed by pundits, I was exceptionally pleased that between Christmas Eve and New Years' Day, there was a grand total of 750 things being assessed and rated. hard to call, but right up near the top of my favourite movie quotes, is from 'the man with two brains' from back when steve martin wasn't a cunt.

kathleen turner: "i saw you out on the lake this afternoon, kissing your brain!"
steve martin: "that could have been anyone..."

Haha! Yeah, I don't watch Steve Martin films, on the grounds that he is a cunt. But good quote.

my mum watched the movie quotes one... i watched 10 of the top 100 musicals, i'm a fan of musicals, but top 100 was pushing it a bit, top 40 would have been better. anyway by the sounds of it, the quotes one was predictable, but entertaining. the top 100 comedy films, of which i also only watched the top 10 was also entertaining and predictable.

Yeah the Musicals one did drag a bit. The Family Films one was a bit much too. Basically, not that interesting a genre.

I imagine the #1 quote was probably May The Force Be With You off Star Trek or something out of Gone With The Wind or whatever.

That Daffy Duck thing could well be the funniest thing I have ever seen. I'm very glad that Mrs Duck didn't actually hand Daffy his face, or I would still be laughing now.
