Sean and I are mostly moved into our new place - a cozy triplex in Norton. Saturday was spent emptying the rest of my belongings out of my old space and cleaning it like crazy, with much aid from my mom. Last night I baked poppyseed muffins with the music up, a cool evening rain as my companion. I also did a lot of quiet thinking.  I felt much at peace.  It was a fine evening.

When I got home from work this evening, all I heard were violent, unrestrained screams coming from a neighbor's garage.  He was in an awful argument with who I assumed was his girlfriend.  I never quite know how to feel when I am witness to something like this - lonesome and disheartened because it reminds me of just how much anger we are capable ( Read more... )

I love mid-morning storms during the summer.  The sky was so dark that it nearly resembled nightfall.  On NPR they mentioned that after the storms depart the region, it is supposed to get really humid and hot.  I'm sort of excited.  I love the sound of a fan whirring on a hazy evening ( Read more... )
