hi, life is great in chicago.  i work at a homeless shelter for salvation army.  i tell people to leave their food outside the facility, give clients medication, supervise dinner, and basically tell kids what they can and can't do.  oh yea i also do room inspections and bed check.  hopefully by the time of their expansion next month, i will have a ( Read more... )

i got a job today, as a shift monitor at the salvation army's homeless shelter.  this makes me so happy.  it's full-time, only 10 bucks an hour, but i have a 2nd job that also pays 10 dollars an hour, so if i can make it work, my life will be insanely awesome ( Read more... )

 moved in most of the way in chicago.  i love our new apartment!  we're almost done painting the whole place, we just have the kitchen left.  i start work tomorrow at a law firm temporarily through a friend.  life is pretty sweet.  we just gotta find lou a job and things will be set for the moment. 

stuck in jacksonville for a couple hours.  sweet library.

 so my time in chicago this summer has been wonderful, i got to see people i haven't seen in a while, spend time with famiy, exercise, sail, bike, ride, shop, i did more in three weeks than i have the whole summer in tallahassee ( Read more... )

 things have been much better since moving from florida.  i feel like i have a regular life again.  with things to do every night that don't always involve going to the same three bars, i have watched movies in the park, rode my bike to the cafe my sister works at for a late cup and chat, gone to the lake, sailed, yoga for $2!  so many opportunites ( Read more... )

back in tallahassee.  back at work.  missed it more than i thought i did.  did not miss tallahassee though.

louis leaves for spain in ten days, i am still wondering how i am going to get to jacksonville in three weeks.  i posted on some rideshares, but i think that my aunt is available to pick me up, she lives in jacksonville.
