If your character was NEVER bid on, assume a nice NPC bid on and won them. NOBODY GOES WITHOUT BIDS. Ok? Good.

Aaaah, a few questions! First off, what exactly is happening now that the people are bought? What do the bought people do with the buyers and such? Just go to this Halloween party thingy? Second, can people ditch their NPC dates or say they called it off their the NPC date?

Pari will be doing that, but right now she's really busy IRL, so she can't do that right now.

As for your other questions/comments, I'm pretty sure the answer would be "whatever you want?". No one is being imposed upon for a date; if you want, you can say no one bid on Mion. The idea was more just to make people feel like they don't have to say their character wasn't bid on; they have an option. So no one feels left out, you know?

It's not obligatory; it's just a standard course of action to help everyone feel good about the results. Make sense?
