yes, i'm still alive.

i've got a lot of posting to catch up on from spring break and various parties.

but for now i'm too busy strolling down the path to self-discovery.

last week was the craziest ever. i'll spare you with the long list of things i accomplished, but the events surrounding it were awesome.

Danny sent me a box the other day. Inside was a scrapbook photo album that took me like a year to make, all the notes that I had put into a jar for him--one to open each time he missed me, a rock we picked up during our 2-year anniversary, and some handcuffs I bought. i can honestly say that this past break was the best i've ever had. my new camera came at a perfect time.
after the big split, i was able to spend more time with my friends, talk openly with my mom for the first time in my life, and get away without worrying about who i left behind.

i am so much more concious of time than i used to be. i think thats something that comes with age. everything is moving so fast, yet it feels right. i'm not afraid of the future because i am in complete control of my life. sure, i'm uneasy about a few things, but who isn't? i'm just keeping my glass half-full. i'm doing what makes me happy instead ( Read more... )
