I cleaned up my old bike yesterday and rode it this morning for the first time in years.

Turns out it really is just like riding a bike...

Except I totally grew in those intervening years and need to do a bit of adjusting.

I went to Michael's yesterday and picked up a few supplies for a little project I'm working on... In addition to a new set of Crayola markers, I bought these super awesome "true to life" crayons. They're tri-colored and bring a swirly, natural look to my silly drawings. Unfortunately, the pack I bought has two Grand Canyons and no Sahara Desert.

So I've been home for about two and a half weeks already. I don't know whether it's sunk in that I've moved and am not just on a long vacation from work. Or maybe I came to that realization ages before the move took place. This feels natural, too much so actually. I feel like I've been packing for months. I'm finally done and the movers are coming tomorrow... apparently, no idea what time yet, but that's the word. I'm only up still so I can have a beer and wind down a bit. I was so stressed out and anxious today that my left eye kept intermittently twitching. I came back from work tonight at 11:30 or so to find a couple trying to wake up some dude passed out on the sofa in the middle of the lobby. They ask me if I know him, which I definitely don't since I don't know anyone in my building. The man is doing sternal rub and shaking him. The fact is, I never answer my regular phone; so few people have only that number and not my cell that it's never worth picking up.
