Deathly Hallows: The Great Spoiler Debate (but none in this post)

Jul 18, 2007 17:07

Thinking back to 2 years ago (has it really been that long??) when HBP came out, I resisted spoilers until the last minute, and a single scanned page was all it took to turn my theories (and that great big bloody fanfic I was writing at the time) upside down.

So I guess the question this time is whether history is repeating itself (with the exception of the great bloody fanfic) this time around.

Decided to go a-hunting for spoilers today after all the publicity about it on the news. You know I just can't help myself.

Lots of crap floating around that can't possibly be true because it sounds ridiculous or is poorly written... and then there was this one scanned page...

If it's the real deal... woah.

feathersindigo, are we still on for that bet?

Oh, yeah, I should mention that I think people posting spoilers before the book is released really sucks, but I just can't stop myself from looking once they're there... Is that hypocritical? Ah, well.

By the way, falconfalmorgan's post about Cirque du Soleil's Mystere reminded me to mention I saw Varekai last weekend. Unbelievable. Loved it. Loved every minute of it. I don't know what the act was called, but these two men up on ropes/wires has got to be the most erotic spellbinding thing I've ever seen in my whole life.
