The co-worker Christmas presents for 2009 are finally finished ... with two hours to spare! I'm off to shower and meet them for a late lunch, but I thought I'd share the gifties, in their favorite colors:
Once upon a time, I tried to teach my oldest daughter to knit. I completely understand the distracted part. She lacks patience, too. I don't see knitting in her future.
I thought of you when I started making these. I was going to take the lime colored yarn and adapt the reversible cable border from the Cardigan for Arwen, widening it to make a scarf. But I gave up ... I kept adding stitches to make it wider because the cables "sucked up" the width. But the more I added the more it seemed to shrink ... sigh.

The fourth one is reversible, with the "opposite" pattern on the other side. Wish I'd thought to take a pic of both sides. It was pretty neat.
