This afternoon I investigated rustling in my pantry only to discover Sharra (all three pounds of her) wrestling with a sweet potato. So cute! I just watched the most wonderful movie on DVD. Danny Deckchair is the name of it and it's about this guy in Austrailia who is living a dull life (sound familiar?). Oh, so very dull. Yesterday I did the laundry and then went out to weed my yard. I live in Florida and it's summertime in case you haven't noticed. Weeding isn't as easy a prospect as you'd think. Thanks so much to the kind and helpful ptyx for directing me to the proper place to find out how to do cut tags and links and such. I'm sure I would have gotten around to looking in the FAQ eventually, but I do have a tendency to get distracted and wander off. Also, ptyx has the best icon ever.

Got up early to catch the space shuttle launch. I live on the west coast of Florida and on a good day I can see the rockets go up from Cape Canaveral. Even better at night. Anyway, Mr Snaz and I watched the liftoff on TV and then ran outside to see it live. No luck though. It was too hazy to see anything. I blame it on the dust cloud that came ( Read more... )
