The first day of Vidcon was too much fun. I haven't laughed that much in months. Highlights include the AU panel, dinner at Mel's Diner and Mark C's reading of Vogon Prose.

I read HBP all at one time on Sunday, sitting in my comfy chair with drinks and snacks at hand and Sharra asleep in my lap. Life is good. The book was quite good. Part detective novel, part romance novel, part Indiana Jones adventure. I'm not going to say much about it because I don't know how to do those cut tags yet. Apparently, Amazon lies about their projected delivery dates. My copies of HBP showed up just before I had to go to work. Stupid job. On the bright side, only nine hours of work today instead of the usual ten. I'm off to do the laundry and finish rereading OotP. Looks like everybody else has finished HBP already. Amazon just shipped my copy of HBP. It should reach my house by Wednesday. I try to console myself with the fact that I'll be working 10 hours on Saturday and really, I should finish rereading OotP before diving into the new book. Mr. Snaz and I have adopted another kitten. She's a beautiful brown tabby and her name is Sharra. That brings the cats in our household up to three, which is more than enough.
