Your icon took me a while to...comprehend (I am sleepy, I think) but it is v cool! (Also, speaking of cats, I met up with a friend who gave me a belated birthday present and it's a really neat wallet with a cat on it! I thought of you right away when I opened it :D)

I like how you write about the difference. I think vinyl's classic, but it's pretty much impractical these days. CDs aren't our generation either, I started listening to music and building up a library only when I got my first laptop. I still try to own CDs by bands I really like though, primarily for all the extras that matter and to support them! I might listen to, say, some googol song because it's a earworm but I'm not about to blow $20 on that!

Actually there was this pretty interesting article in The New Yorker recently about how people are starting to listen to radio-style music again, only online this time round, using websites like Pandora. You can read it here!
