Pick 20 movies/anime/video games/literary works and copypaste their summaries from Better than it Sounds and WITHOUT CHEATING have your friends guess. Try not to overlap your selections with others'!
12 - Power Rangers 13 - Big Trouble In Little China (maybe? sorta? am i dating myself?) 14 - To Wong Foo, Thanks For Everything, Julie Newmar (it's gotta be @_@) 20 - Sonic The Hedgehog (.......maybe? :o )
I'm trying to figure out how "dragons ate his memories" could fit into the otherwise overwhelming evidence that #19 is talking about the Star Wars movies. Then again, so could #1. And #15, I suppose, if you wanted to stretch it a little bit. ("A young Jedi named Darth Vader, who was a pupil of mine before he turned to evil, betrayed and murdered your father.")
Ahh, except for the part where Anakin and Padme were legally, if secretly, married, so Luke and Leia weren't bastards! Or...royal, really. George Lucas, we need to have a discussion about terms applied to elected officials.
But yeah, #1 is REALLY generic. I was surprised at how vague TV Tropes' description was. Getting that one hinges on a knowledge of my fandoms, I guess.
