What do you do when you feel as though God has called you one way and you feel at his peace about it but, then he brings somebody else to bring up the way that you don’t have peace about the side he’s not leading you too…. I’m so Confused and don’t know what to do?! Am I being tested or am I hearing Christ wrong? I feel like I’m where God wants me ( Read more... )

I hope you don't feel, in any way, that I am trying to demean your post. Just know that this is my way of saying, "I understand, I have been there too, have hope".

When Jacob and I were talking about getting married MANY people looked down upon us. I had close friends say things about us and family say things too. Every stranger I met told us we were crazy and shouldn't do it. Guess what? GOD had a different plan. If he needs you in any way He will make it happen. I know it's tough now, but don't worry. Try and take what people say lightly. I'm not saying brush their suggestions off... but don't let it be personal. Take in what they are saying, weigh your options and then let it go if necessary.

God's plan will work no matter what anyone thinks. So if it is meant to be, it will happen with your willingness and readiness.

Thankz Whit!!! That helped lots!!! I think that I'm in that boat right now....I seriously think that God is leading me one way in my life that I have peace about/in...but, some think differently...it's so hard!!! I think that I have taken what some people say to personally and now I'm trying to tell myself not too....I'm so thankful that I've found Gods peace!!! see ya soon!

it sounds to me like you have a case of chantelitis. i'm wondering if this is about what i think it's about in which case i can say, sadly, that i haven't even started...mainly because i've been experiencing a bit of what it sounds like you're experiencing....

chrystal, it sucks to talk on-line, so lets set a date. ok?
i really want to be there for you. you've been here for me throughout my bouts of chantelitis, and right now, i really want to be as much a blessing to you as you've been to me in the last few weeks.

I was really excited to continue our conversation and was looking forward to yesterday... but then I was sad it didn't work out... but I really want to finish what we were talking about. so, I think I'm going to try and call you tonight. and don't forget about monday (i've been excited all week about dragging the rabbit behind the car and burning it at the stake:D) YESSSSS!
