It's so funny what different disciplines need to learn. If I didn't understand the Renin-Angiotensin-Aldosterone system, I wouldn't understand a whole slew of hypertension and cardiovascular drugs. But I'm with you, after 3 years of this BS - learn what you NEED. I'm pretty sure your patients will never ask you to explain why sodium is reabsorbed in their distal kidney tubules. ;)
