So I just moved into this duplex, and my neighbor has not been home since I moved in. I started seeing his car there sometime last week, but still, no sight of a person. I always feel like I should be living more frugally. But I have to say, I am pretty damn happy with "my" new house. Still renting, because I don't anticipate being in Alaska forever. I know that spring in Alaska is called Breakup because all the ice breaks up and melts and it's an ocean of mud. But I didn't realize today the "breaking up" part is a physical thing!!! Financial Woes - Sort Of.

I am putting money automatically into savings every month from my paycheck, and apparently it's a damned good thing I'm doing so. Even though my savings account is slowly growing, my checking account is stagnating and refuses to ever get above a certain dollar amount. This is the first time I've suffered insomnia since 2003, and now it's actually a problem, since I'm not living the life of a college student!! How do I deal?? I know everything there is to know about sleeping pills. I can't take OTC pills becuase I am always still groggy in the morning and can't get up.
