Went to the doctor last night. The polyclinic was closed and so were the clinics near my block. My Mother and I had to cross the wide road from the train station to Silver Cross clinic which operates on a 24-hour basis and charges unsubsidised, astronomical consultation fees. My headache lasted for four days from Wednesday and still it refuses to be gone. I have been on medication (nothing too complicated; panadol once every six hours) and I have attempted to obtain just enough sleep for now. For recovery purposes I have had a doctor years ago recommend ten hours daily and I have been a pious follower of medical advice ( Read more... ) -

2) By the time I remembered to it was pouring outside
3) I discovered my umbrella had disappeared

on television tonight
Today I got off the usual bus stop in front of the school's side gate, only to realise it was closed. I had to trudge all the way up to the school gates, past Raffles Girls' Primary School, along the row of expensive-looking private houses until the place where the main gate was hidden by a clump of trees.

Decided it would be impossible to pick up Russian while I am still getting used to German. It wrecks havoc on the linguistic compartmentalisation inside my head. Homework x 5
Extra lessons x2

The computer I use at home has malfuctioned, denying me access to everything my life encompasses: my music, pictures and bookmarks. My external hard drive which I use as back-up has failed; it is terribly out-dated and I never find time to back-up as frequently as I should. I swear this is not me, I do not feel like myself, when I have lost control of the meaning of everything and anything.
