P&P's wedding weekend (Sunday)

Saturday night ran unexpectedly late, thanks in large part to the Car Towing Extravaganza, so it took the majority of us a while to get going Sunday morning. Eventually Sarah and I joined Pete, his father, his stepmom and some other relatives for a late breakfast in the hotel restaurant. A few hours away from the wedding, Pete seemed to be holding

It is good to see you on LJ. I have come to despise Myspace and Facebook. Lj is the only place I check at least once a day.

Congrats to your wonderful friends! Pumtiwitt made an absolutely gorgeous bride, and she and Pete look wonderful together.

I am curious about the lovely Sarah. Did I miss a post describing all the details? Or have you not made one? Because I really, really like reading about dates, first kisses, etc. It is vicarious living at its best. And I'm just nosey that way.

You didn't miss anything, I just didn't really make a big deal out of it this time around. Superstition, I guess, because it felt like in the past, every time I got excited about someone and then all of LJ-land got excited for me, it all blew up around me. I know that's silly and I'm really not superstitious to begin with, but I guess I just decided to let things be this time around. But I'll tell you all about her, I promise. Maybe in an e-mail or something. And hopefully you got to see all the Facebook pictures -- they tell a pretty good story alone.

That makes sense. You have had some bad luck after posting on LJ so it is okay to feel a little superstitious. Until you have time (and a feeling of great security) to update or email, just know that I'm hoping for the best.

I looked at most of the pictures. Y'all make a cute couple and she looks like lots of fun...friendly and pretty. :D

Thanks for posting about the event of the year. I couldn't have told it better myself. It was quite a weekend with the whole dead bird, cars being towed, drunken limo ride ... Ahhh the memories!
