had a dream last night that aliens invaded earth (probably the 3893rd one). this time after decimating cities and natural resources they landed, only to present a new form of boysenberry yogurt they "claimed" would grant us immortality. smelled too much like product placement to me, even in the dream, so i opted out. turns out intergalactic ( Read more... )

well, I guess boysenberry yogurt is a step up from underwear! (maybe? haha)

Do you often have super vivid dreams, wherein you actually see people's faces, and can read text, etc.? (as I know it's usually not common for things like that to be clear in dreams) It kind of scares me how involved my dreams can get sometimes; I think I've even done math problems in my dreams before :O (or maybe I just recalled doing math, when really my dream was about Burt Reynolds knitting a sweater vest out of spun ham. Hmm.)

im pretty sure i can see that stuff. the reason i say that is that i had a dream a few years ago that michael jackson got plastic surgery to look like himself circa off the wall era. i remember his face, and it was awesome. a lot less mummy.
but a dream about math remembrances? thats worse than my recurring dream where im watching reruns of tom snyder late late show... every time the power eventually goes out and i have to read the transcript instead.

I was trying to recall more of my dreams, so I referenced a not very up-to-date log that I sometimes keep, and man, one of them said that I was in a bank, being held hostage by Wilford Brimley, and that since I was the only girl, all the hostages elected me to seduce him and be the distraction while they all escape. I think I actually said "WTF" in my dream (both internally and to the other hostages). haha

hahah, oh man, Tom Snyder. I miss him [and his eyebrows] dearly. (well, his show that is, at least he's not dead) and you know, I think I actually HAVE been in such that very situation, where the power went out and I had to read the transcript! Or maybe I just hoped for a rerun later. Probably the latter. I'm sure the transcripts were downright crispy, what with how dry the actual live interviews were :D (ahh bad play on words; I apologize.)
