Why dont they sell replacement keys for the keyboard?

Some of the letters are wearing away on mine and just b/c I'm anal, I wanted to replace them and I cant find them on the Dell website.

I have too much time on my hands.  But this is what happens when you spend your entire Saturday sleeping and watching Married with Children on dvd.

You probably could replace with a key you dont use. Like a number on the number pad. Just put a tiny regular screwdriver against the corner edge and it should pop out or break.

Silly goose. My keys still work but it irritates me that the letters on the keys are wearing away. Like you can barely see half the "s"

Actually they do sell replacement keyboards. People come to us all the time because they can never find them through dell.

you will have to replace the entire keyboard. the only way you can replace keys is if the manufacturer will send you individual keys they have lying around(which mind you, NEVER happens)
they usually cost us around $40. i would just randomly replace the keys you need from the new keyboard.

Ick I don't want to replace the whole thing. That's not worth it. I just needed like 3 new keys and you'd think they'd sell replacement keys to make extra bucks.
