I'm re-learning how to swim. Both my brother and I had lessons when we were little but for some reason neither of us could do it as we got older. He was forced to learn rather quickly when he had to jump into a pool in full army gear w/ gun and pack during ROTC. Rob has been teaching me. Well, we've been out of Michigan for almost a week now...and its been a crazy one. DAY ONE: Left South Haven Wednesday morning and drove through Indiana, Illinois and Iowa before finally resting in Lincoln, Nebraska. Yay! Rob and I are moving to California...I accepted an AmeriCorps position yesterday working with the Anaheim school district. I start the end of April. Not the greatest paying job, but its more than I make now plus they give me money to pay back loans when I'm done. And its southern California ( Read more... )

I've thought about dreading my hair before, so I tried to do it. I couldn't even make it three days before I had to shampoo and condition my hair.

Two interviews for CA next week and one more the following...things might be looking good ;o)

YAY, I have a second job now! :o) At a day care in town, not my ideal setting but at least its in my field and a start. I am a teacher in the "Weebler" room, the walking infants.
