Just this past week has been physically hard for me. Luckily, my workload wasn’t too much and I was able to get a lot of sleep. However, I caught a cold so I’m feeling exhausted by early evening and my lower back has been hurting a LOT these past two days. You have no idea how inhibiting it is to have lower back pain. Last night, after all that, I was praying before I went to sleep.

And, it was a very interesting experience. I was soooo tired, and I was just like, "God, I'm so tired. I can't even say anything right now, but I know you know my heart. So I'm just gonna sit and be in your presence..." And I tried out the listening prayer.

After emailing with Patrick and Helena about the Holy Spirit and how God moves in various forms that I may not know, I feel extremely humbled. When I first read what they said, my heart felt queasy and I felt shameful, guilty, and judgmental. I didn't reply them right away, and left their emails in my inbox for a couple days.

This Lent was really interesting; I don't remember ever having such a meaningful Lenten season.
I gave up kpop searches and music, and prayed a decade of the Rosary every night.

Looking up kpop news was actually quite easy to quit.

I know a lot of strong women.

Women who in a summer's time got a job, learned to drive, and became independent.
Women who faced death in the family at an early age and still go to school with a smile on their face. You couldn't even tell.
Women who have loved ones overseas and can only get as close to them as a telephone call or a webcam chat.
