I"m moving to Brooklyn in 6 weeks or so, and I'm so not ready.

I worked a crappy one-day job marking certified mail with stickers. It's the first time I've worked since the first week on January, which is crazy.
I just baked two pumpkin pies. One to freeze for later and one to take to Mordechai, since I've been promising him a pie for the past 3 years. See, I come through eventually.

So, I did the worst shit ever last night. Seriously. I've finally hit rock bottom concerning drunken public behavior. I mean. God damn.

I'm home right now on a 7 hour pass from the hospital. I've been an inpatient since last Wednesday and I'm being discharged Monday afternoon. I've never felt more excited or apprehensive or better off with myself. More updates later.

Had two days of IOP so far. Not as bad as I thought, except I can't stop comparing myself to the anorexics, who are by all normal standards, kind of gross looking even though they're in recovery. Had an evaluation with the doctor, he called insurance, argued with them, got as far as partial hospitalization, which means 5 day-a-week 9am-4pm treatment, which I start tomorrow. I was told to try my best for the next three days but chances are, it's going to be readily evident that outpatient should not be the start point of my program. I looked ( Read more... )
