I forgot about Carter! I couldn't believe that! I liked carter too. I agree with the lack of material for season three. Unless they bring people back (which will be REALLY hard for marian). Angsty Robin will annoy me after about two episodes (or even earlier), so I have the BBC has something up their sleeve. We will not be satisfied with repetitive Robin-angst!

I can only say that they implied the passing of time with Guy's facial hair.

By the time Guy stabbed her I had stopped liking Marian. What she said to Guy and HOW she said it to him was twisted + cruel. I'm not going to view her as a martyr either (sacrificing herself to save the king). She lost all sympathy points with me.

I'm still on Guy's side. Call me demented and mean, justify Marian's actions & speech, or even throw rocks at me, but I'll still be a Guy supporter.

It will be hard for them to keep on a good show. But we must have trust in the writers. Maybe they have a plan. But I can't believe that they killed Marian, I mean I'm not her biggest fan but she's still such a huge part of the legend. It's just chocking to me.

Like you I was certain either Robin understanding Much then him getting bumped off.
Or Allan getting redeemed then bumped off.
Or Grisborn either sacrificing himself for Robin for Marian's sake, sacrificing himself for Marian. Or doing something mildly heroic and dying in Marian's arms or something.

Killing off Marian... now honestly.

A load of people are saying: she wasn't buried, she wasn't buried! But if they bring her back now will feel a little cheated.

And Right, sure Will Scarlett is just going to float about Israel all inconspicuously white like.

i agree i no marian can be a little moody but i am a fan of marian and robin. seriously i am annoyed the writers have basically cut the ledgend wide open. its ridiculous.
I'm abit disapointed actually.
except i reveled in the shakespearian way she died (the heroine having a moment of clarity but its too late), i actually thought id watched it wrong or summit as i was at my brothers and it was on in the background. i was floored and nearly dropped my niece! lol
i hated it. and robin ddnt even seem as sad as i fort e wud. someone cum up with a reasonable theory. u cnt just kill off a major character like that. its ridiculous and has potentionally ruined RH for me :(
