I snap to thoughts about living in New York or travelling there as much as possible.

What's the big attraction that you have for New York. Is it the people that you know over there or just the energy and atmosphere of the place?

I only know one person in NYC. She and I usually have supper and go to a Broadway show one night when I'm in the city.

My love for NYC encompasses everything it is and gives to me - energy, stimulation, cultures, architecture, beautiful landscaping, independence (mass transit), water fronts, neighbourhoods, theatre, eating, shopping. From my first trip there, I thought I was a small town born and bread girl yearning for the bright lights and energy of a city.

If I had known how much I would love NYC when I was still in high school, I may have pursued education in a field that could have taken me to NYC.

It's been over two years since I've been to NYC, and I ache a little for it. :)

Lordy! Am I the only person on my f-list with selfish wishes? Heheheh!

I'm glad you found your ankle-biters! :)

where would I be if a friend lies to me for a very compelling reason? I would need to know why the person lied and evaluate their reasons.

There IS no compelling reason. Ever. Period. That's one thing I'm completely inflexible on.

And their quietness. They don't talk to me enough.

LOL! Mubbie's mouth is going all day, he never shuts up. I think some breeds really do "talk" a lot more than others.

Times Square! I have to hear the cacophony of the streets!! And join the energy of thousands of people walking the sidewalks looking for a good place to have a bite to eat or rushing to the theatre.

I kind of admire that! I about had a melt-down just looking at the pics Chris took in NYC. LOL

Okay, come at me, bro! :D

*hugs*

LOL! Oh I have selfish wishes, but I can enjoy those wishes better if loved ones are health! :P ( ... )

Well, I'd take care of number one first, that's for sure. :)

I have had a friend that was very self-centred and treated me and her family, whom I love, terribly while she went after something she wanted. I walked away from that friend, despite how much I once loved her.

Hm, that's forgivable, IMO. Not that I'd allow anyone to treat me like crap anymore, but it's forgivable. We all want what we want and can make mistakes or hurt someone, depending on how badly we want the thing and how tough the opposition is. Lying isn't a mistake, it's a character defect and tells me a lot about how a friend views me and others; to me it's worse than being stolen from (maybe it's ironic, but that's especially the case when the intentions are "good"). It's better to not know how that feels.

I like your questions - thanks! :)

*hugs*
