It's amazing how much a concentrated week of travel, conference, parties, and schmoozing can take out of you. -

Bouncy Meat
We went to the Time Cube for leap-day dinner and games, both of which were awesome!
ariiadne smoked a bunch of rabbit and kangaroo. Consensus is farm-raised rabbit doesn't taste interesting enough to warrant the extra fiddliness, but the kangaroo was awesome! Possibly shorter cook times due to its insane leanness; the largest/middle bits were perfect ( Read more... ) -
Live Shows
We had tickets to see Informatik and And One at the DNA tonight, but lamed out due to a combination of bad weather, bridge closures after 11pm, and general overwork.
Instead, we sat at the kitchen table working at our laptops while watching the live stream from the DNA. It's surprisingly high quality; we should remember this before buying tickets ( Read more... ) -

The weather has been gorgeous for winter, so I've gotten out in the sun a bit in the past week. Let's see.
