If you happen across a large white wolf, I urge you not to be alarmed. He is quite harmless unless you make a threat against him.

[Spam of the Ghostly variety][Weird things are happening on the Barge and direwolves pretty much have a built in weird shit-o-meters. But while Ghost is rather talented at sniffing out Others related things, whatever ( Read more... )

ghost is smarter than me, lost my wolf, this is not a funny joke :|

[Large wolves are far from the weirdest animals Zuko's ever seen, so he's never really been all that bothered by the wolf's appearance. Seeing him without Jon though is weird, and so he stops to watch him for a couple seconds, wondering what he's sniffing around for.] Ghost?

[Ghost looks up at him at the sound of his name. Zuko, he recognizes. Zuko isn't a threat. The wolf just stares at him for a moment and then puts his nose back to the ground.

Where's Jon? [It might seem ridiculous to be chatting with a wolf but. Ghost seems pretty smart and animals sometimes seem like they know what you're talking about.]

[Yeah. Ghost doesn't really respond to that. It's probable that he recognizes Jon's name but it's not like he can point. And there's the scent of something that catches his attention, so he starts to follow that trail now.]

[Narvin's not keen on nature or animals. So when he sees the GIANT canine trotting down the hallway, he flattens himself against the wall and hopes it will pass by without getting close to him.]

[That's way too easy. Ghost wouldn't be Ghost if he didn't stop in front of the man, staring at him with red eyes. But this man is clearly not a threat, or what he's smelling so he moves on.]

[Narvin stares back for a second, then breaks eye contact and looks instead in the vicinity of Ghost's feet. His shoulders are slightly hunched and if he had a tail, it would be lowered between his legs right now. He breaths a big sigh of relief when Ghost continues on his way.]

WOLF ON WOLF. What? uberwaldian October 28 2011, 03:48:22 UTC
[Angua has, of course, smelled the other wolf on board. How could she not? Without ever seeing him, she knows that he's absolutely massive, and has something about him... some kind of power that she's never smelled on another wolf. Not werewolf, not regular wolf... something else.

So when she's doing her own little patrol and smells the direwolf not too far away, she can't help but follow the trail.]

[Direwolf smells like pure awesome. Fact.

Ghost seems to sense that there's another wolf following him, so he stops where he is, just waiting for her to catch up with him.]

((Note: Angua can talk to dogs/wolves in canon when she's changed, but feel free to have him not respond!))

[Angua, too, smells just a little different from a normal wolf, in a way any wolf -- any dog, really -- would notice instantly. To Ghost, she actually probably smells a little like, well, warg.

She lopes up to him, brimming with curiosity. He certainly is much bigger than she is, and pure white, in comparison to her Ramtops blond coat... The only thing she can tell about him is that she's never met a wolf like him. She feels, for the first time in years, rather outclassed.]

Er. Hello.

[ooc; Yeah, I doubt that he has like... a voice. Only staring :|]

[Wargs are okay, if you are the good kind of warg like the Stark children and not the insane wildling ones. He can't figure which one you are yet.

Ghost watches her as she approaches him. He doesn't seem threatened by her, mostly because of his size in comparison to hers, but he is holding himself stiffly. Until he gets a better sense of her.]

[Sup Ghost. Olive has her normal reaction of HOLY SHIT WOLF before telling herself to relax. It's actually easy, since he isn't vanishing like...all the awful shit happening on Barge.]

He needs to stop feeding you baby lambs. Or horses. Or whatever he feeds you, I think you keep getting bigger. [She offers a hand. Hesitantly. And from maybe a foot away, just in case. :|]

[He eats whatever he catches in the CES. Jon can't be responsible for that.

Ghost kind of likes Olive though, and he approaches her slowly, bumping against that hand she's putting out. He really won't bite you, woman.]

[Look she's wary okay, that is not her fault. But when he bumps her hand and her hand is still in tact, she scratches him behind the ears.] Jon's probably looking for you, you know.

[That was when a tiny, yapping dog tried to lunge out of Drake's arms.]

"No, Elvira. That's a really big dog, and it'll probably eat you if you annoy it."

[Elvira didn't seem to be listening, as she continued to bark.]

[Ghost didn't growl back, because he never did unless it was wights or Others, and this tiny dog was not that. But he held his ground and bared his teeth in a silent snarl. Because he probably would have no problem eating the smaller animal.]

[The silent snarl was enough to shut Elvira up with a whimper.]

That a girl. Come on, let's get out of here.

[And with that Drake turned around and headed in the other direction, not wanting to risk getting too close to the wolf.]
