Sorry I haven't posted in a while. Been trying to deal with my bf. See... shit. Well. I think Valentine's Day might tear more people apart than it brings together. My bf sort of proposed to me on Val day. He didn't have a ring yet but he got down on one knee, said all the words, and I just kind of froze up

My 2 cents? I'd talk things over with him and tell him that while you love him and love being with him, you are unsure of taking that step right now. Maybe suggest other things you can do to move along the relationship (if you are at that point) OR tell him that right now, you are happy at the point you are.

If you aren't ready, you aren't ready. It's better to stay true to your thoughts and feeling than pushing yourself into something that doesn't feel right.

I never thanked you for your advice- thank you. I guess sometimes I think I'm crazy for not wanting all the things everyone else wants right now. I forget that it doesn't matter what everyone else wants- it's what I want that's the point. I took your advice- and it went well. So thanks :)
