this is actually pretty uncanny/ironic since my shoes are almost always untied. i like to say i have developed a special shuffle-like gait that allows me to walk with shoes untied without incident.

for those interested in such things, i'll be dancing at 2:30 pm tomorrow (saturday, 9-24) at St. Catherine's in Carrollton. (www.stcatherine.org)

I'll be doing a lovely choreographed slip jig, the fancy new slow hornpipe, treble reel and maybe even that old chestnut St. Patrick's Day (if i can catch my breath after the hornpipe).

that was the fasted post i've ever done. content free, no less, it even puts my current music on automatically. ok, enough advertising for lj widget.

i downloaded a widget that lets me post to lj. i am testing it out to see if it works.

ok. I am stumped. I was trying to remember a riddle/joke about a waffle. I don't remember if waffle is the punch line or in the opening, but it was driving me crazy last night. The recital went pretty well today. I only messed up minimally. Cate and Anthony came to watch. It was very sweet. Cate was super supportive and cute when she said she had never seen my feet move so fast. it made me giggle. We went to veggie garden and had bubble tea afterwards. yum. Cate liked her birthday present.

two of my warts fell off today! (The big one that started this whole mess when it bled all over my sock and a little baby one) I am such a nerd, I saved the big, yucky one so I can inspect it under the microscope. nick introduced me to the bubble tea/internet cafe near his house last night. it was pretty cute, called mug and mouse. bubble tea was yummy, too. They even had used dvds for sale at the counter. i got i heart huckabees for $10. Too tired to watch it last night, though ( Read more... )
