Scott Pilgrim's Precious Little Life,
Scott Pilgrim Vs. the World, and
Scott Pilgrim & the Infinite Sadness by Bryan Lee O'Malley. People keep telling me to read this, so I did. People did not mention that Scott Pilgrim is kind of a skeevy jerk. That doesn't mean the story, while messy, isn't engaging and sometimes hilarious. Lots of little easter eggs for Canadians, music obsessives, and people who have played enough video games to see a screen when they close their eyes. I can't quite decide whether O'Malley is skewering hipster culture (the most sympathetic character is Knives, by far) or giving it an affectionate noogie, but I guess I don't care that much as long as it's entertaining.
