Gas leaks are easy to fix.

That sucks. Maybe you chould just not drive it anymore, and then I can come over and you can teach me how to solo.
I tried my hand at soloing during our Blues practice this week. Wasn't pretty, but I was praised for actually trying.

ok.
lesson #1:
find the key the blues tune is in.
say its in G. (the first and last chord will almost always (99% of the time) tell you the key of a blues tune.
say its in G. on the low E string, the G falls on the third fret. this is where we will start.
use this pattern,your first finger will always be on the third fret:
TAB version of blues scale:
G:3-5
D:3-5
A:3-4-5
E:3-6
this pattern can be moved up and down the neck as necessary to the apropriate key. (A=fifth fret, C=eigth fret, etc.)
and there it is, blues 101.
