took valentine's day pictures of the babies but dad's something-or-other cable was missing so he couldn't load them for us. poo. we'll see when we actually get them.

she clapped yesterday. yay!

I'm not feeling very pregnant, but the baby moves and I started wearing maternity pants--with a belt.

so Germaine is now able to grab food with her fingers. she wants anything she sees us eating. she's also sticking out her tongue all the time now. she even twists it upside-down, an ability Husband is jealous of.

looks like someone is turning into quite the daddy's girl :) always leaping into his arms.....

well,I went to the midwife on wednesday, she said everything looks good, I'm measuring on time, and we heard the heartbeat! then I woke up yesterday (thursday) and felt the baby move for the first time! needless to say, I'm excited and finally relieved that everything is going to be fine.

mmmkay... well, she's babbling quite a bit now. recognizable syllables, like mamama, dadada, and bwa bwwwah. hehe. she reaches for me if she wants up. she's still not looking like crawling any time soon... but can kinda pull herself partly up on stuff ( Read more... )

so she's finally rolling back to front (but not front to back yet...) and if I sit her up, she can actually sit a few seconds before she topples! and she's getting much better at gripping things.. like, if she starts to lose her grip, she can hold the thing in one hand while she makes a better grip with the other.

my baby is quite the chatterbox. she'll tell me things (not that I know what, or anything) for like 15-20 minutes straight. must be cause she's a girl... my boss's grandson (2 months older than germaine) apparently doesn't talk much at all.
