It's a New Year in February!

1. What did you do in 2010 that you'd never done before?
Potty-trained a child.  Organized a Halloween carnival.  Made an edible Mickey Mouse clubhouse.

2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
Last year, I said I wanted to craft more, but that didn't happen too much.  So I will try to do that this year too.

I totally didn't know about your Picasa page! I'll have to check that regularly now. Thanks, another site to spend time on. ;-)

I guess I should have mentioned my iPad in my meme now that I think about it. Cuz it's awesome. But I equate it with January for some reason, I guess that's when I started really using it, even though I got it for Christmas.

re: the maid ... when I got sooo pregnant it took me days to clean, I got a good maid. She only comes in every 6 weeks or so, we really don't need the house *that* clean, but it is so awesome having someone scrub the bathrooms and kitchen. The shower alone makes it worth it!

Haha, yay Ethan being potty-trained on his own terms and being a super-genius. And Josie being a daredevil!

That president sucks, glad she's moving along.

I had no idea that the TSA was doing that stuff to kids too.

Potty Training is the biggest deal ever! Drew is trained and we still have occasional issues. I honestly believe it will be up there with the hardest things I do as a parent including letting my teenage kids drive cars.
So proud of Ethan and how smart he is! And yay for Josie's sense of adventure! Isn't it crazy how much we let the second kid do that we were scared to death for the first?

I hadn't seen any of those videos before. Oh my god, so cute!

I can't believe how advanced Ethan is! What's he going to do when he starts school and all the other kids are still eating books?

Jooooosie. She's such a badass. I want to be her friend.

I'm starting to look at preschools now. He is certainly ahead on learning things, but he needs some help on the being able to sit still/follow directions/participate in a group stuff you need in school. I think most preschools are play-based? so this shouldn't matter too much which one we choose. I'm hoping kindergarten has a GT kind of thing.

All the preschools here are private which sucks cost wise but they are curriculum based vs. play based. For instance, Drew's school follows the Abeka curriculum, and I have been very happy with his progress. I'm sure you will find a great school!
