Potty-trained a child.  Organized a Halloween carnival.  Made an edible Mickey Mouse clubhouse.

My grandma died today.  She had colon cancer that moved to her liver, bones, and brain.  She was a strong, loving woman and now she's gone.  My parents told me that she wasn't doing well, so I took the kids and went to the lake to see her last week.  She did recognize me and the kids, but she couldn't really talk to us anymore.  Her face lit up ( Read more... )

Josie is getting so big. We went to the doctor today for her 4 month visit. She weighs 16 pounds 7 ounces, which puts her at 95th percentile for weight. This is about two pounds heavier than Ethan when he was 4 months old. She is 25 3/4 inches long which puts her at 90th percentile for height. She's about to grow out of her 3-6 month clothes.
