1. He never really got what made girls look at him differently, after he beheaded Nagini. He didn't feel any different.
2. Running the Hogwarts Underground never seemed like a brave thing to do, just... necessary.
3. He developed a taste for unadulterated tea, thanks to his frequent visits to Headmaster Snape's office, and never went back to cream and sugar.
4. He was never in love with Ginny Weasley, though he thought she was good fun, and a good fighter.
5. Scorpius Malfoy was one of his favourite students, mostly because the boy visibly ached for Albus Severus Potter, and was so shy and tongue-tied it took him six years to act on it.
6. He thinks that Hannah is truly the most perfect woman he's ever known. Hermione falls a distant second, though he'd never tell anyone.
7. He slimmed down in sixth and seventh years in school, and through no particular effort on his part, stayed slim and a bit gangly for the rest of his life.
8. Neville honestly despises the term 'late bloomer'.
9. He's glad to see his friends pair off and get married before he does. As a side effect, it's making his grandmother nervous, and he sort of enjoys keeping her just a little off-balance.
10. Headmaster Snape taught him that appearances were almost always deceiving, and he never forgot it.
11. James Potter II is a rude, arrogant brat, so unlike his father that Neville Pensieves his memories of Harry from first year and shows the boy what he really has to live up to.
12. Ten years after the Battle of Hogwarts, he got a letter from Spain that claimed its writer knew all of his dark secrets and would expose them unless he resigned as a teacher.
13. Every Wednesday, he plays poker with Binns and the Defence Against the Dark Arts professor, Wesley Cooper. Binns cheats.
14. He replied to the blackmail letter with a chatty missive beginning, "Dear Draco". He never got another one, and life remained as peaceful as ever.
15. He doesn't like alcohol, not because of its effect, but because of its taste. He doesn't mind when Harry or Ron tease him about it. Hannah doesn't care for the stuff either.
16. He's much better at Defence than he was as a student, and he's the Potter children's first teacher in that subject, before they come to Hogwarts. Harry asked him to do it.
17. Every year on January 12, for what turned out to be 83 years, Neville Longbottom serenaded his wife with the number-one-rated Muggle pop song of the previous year, over breakfast.
18. He admires Snape powerfully, but any time he tries to talk about him, he becomes utterly flustered, and can't defend the man properly. Hannah understood right away, and this was the reason he first asked her to have dinner with him after work. He finds it oddly comforting that Snape has influenced so much in his life.
19. When Student Resistance became a massively popular Muggle bestseller, Neville smiled and nodded and agreed that this Leonard Noble fellow had captured the desperation and grit of the Hogwarts Resistance, and it was amazing how closely his novel resembled their own year of hard going.
20. Six months after James Potter II graduated Hogwarts and went into Auror training like Harry, Hannah gave birth to the first of five children, all of whom were Sorted to Ravenclaw.
