I was somewhat weirded out when my mom announced her retirement. I suppose that she earned it after a long career, but I kept trying to talk her into continuing to work. My father probably thanked me

i might be interested in buying that tv from you...if no one else does in the next couple of weeks...i am moving soon, but i'm not sure where to, so i don't know if there'll be enough room! so yeah, don't hold it for me, but maybe...
Rachel, for YOU, $300, but I can't promise to hold it for weeks. I really need to move it out.
If I get any offers, I'll let you know.
I'd also help you move, but I can't lift. In fact, you should see my apartment. It's MORE messy than when you were here last. Unfortunately, I can't really bend over, so when things fall to the ground, they often stay.
And please do not feel bad about me not having you finish your interior decorating. My place is in the EXACT same condition. I appreciated your efforts and I would have let you finish, but my back situation has really sapped my energy.
i'm going to hire movers...i don't expect anyone to help me move!! lol. the tv however will be another proposition, how heavy is it? if i get a couple of friends will i be able to manage it, or is it crazy heavy? i may have a place, and if i take it, i'd get the keys on the 19th so could take the tv next weekend, i am just worried about the logistics of moving it!
I'm not going to lie, it's heavy, BUT it's on WHEELS.
It's really easy to move. With my bad back, I can easily move it but with 2 people pushing it, it should be simple.
Also, you can easily separate it into two pieces to make it smaller. We did that when we put it in my tiny elevator.
Where is the place that you are getting?
I don't know exactly how old the TV is, but I bought it before Circuit City closed and in all honesty, it works fine. My big problem is connecting my video/audio/gaming stuff to it makes a horrible mess, so with the new TV, I plan on putting it on a stand (IF I can find one large enough) and tidying up. Plus, I found an incredible price on the new TV.
