This reminds me of a Noel Gallagher interview in which he said he never liked the name Oasis, but he's OK with it now since the name became something else, just like The Beatles isn't really a good name but now we think of the band, then say the insect or the car.

"The Beatles", my favorite group, was going to be my other example of a terrible name. I actually was planning on a whole post with my analysis of why Garbage isn't a much bigger band, but I got distracted.
