You can get the student loans where you dont start paying until you are 6 mos out of college! Also, try to go overseas bc the Navy pays for most of your tuition... Or go to school on base and then it's only $26.00 a credit for spouses.

Yeah we don't want student loans because we are still paying for the other ones lol. I've read about the overseas thing but now we arent sure we want to go there because Alyssa will be starting kindergarden and we arent sure we want her to start in japan lol. Do you know where i can find info about the school on base? I've been looking. You always know everything lol they need a spouse navy eduaction class....i bet they already have one and i just dont know lol.

Well, 99.9% of everyone that goes to school has student loans. The whole idea behind it is bc you have a degree, you'll have a much higher paying job so paying them back shouldn't be a problem. Also, they give you 6 mos after you get ur degree to get a job and start paying them back.

I hope we're in Japan when we have a baby and he or she starts school... I think it would be an awesome experience and oppertunity for my child. Also, I've done reading online and children who learn two languages are more advanced in other areas... Alyssa is still so young where she probably wouldn't have a problem. But who knows! I totally get where you're coming from though!

Here is the website where you will find everything you need for the Navy College.
