I'm home today due to the shingles. Just one more day off and then I'll return. I figured I'd do more harm than good at work since I can't think straight with all of the itching and pain. Last week I noticed some pink bumps forming a short straight line and a "z" on my right side and thought that the skin issue I had two years ago was revisiting. Yesterday it was so hot that I burned my finger tip on my car's turn signal! Thankfully, I have a cover on the steering wheel. Otherwise, I don't think I would have been able to drive! When will summer be over?!?

Well, we're back from Chicago and have a ton of laundry to do. With it being like 100 degrees outside, our A/C had to work overtime to cool down the house. Anyhow, I had a great time visiting family and friends. It's pretty sad when you make a "to do" list so you don't forget what you need to do and then forget where you've put the list! Is it Friday yet?

If you're dumb enough to type up a 2-page, single-spaced document without saving and lose that document when the computer freezes, then I have no pity for you. But if I walk by you and see that you're typing another 2-page, single-spaced document and your document is named Document1, then I'm going to slap you! Will people ever learn! /end rant.

5 journal articles - 50% complete

This 5 week course is working me to death!

I still do not understand why it remains so freakin' hot after it rains here. On another note, I am drowning in school work. The 22 page syllabus leads me to believe I'm not making an A this semster. See you when it's over.
