It is almost too embarassing to post but after having managed to grow a 2.5-ft lemon tree from seed (a grocery store lemon seed!) it dropped nearly all its leaves over the 2018/19 winter and was basically an upside-down L-shaped branch. It was a warm day, unusually so, resulting in a heavy fog most of the day. You could tell the sun was shining above, but at ground level, it was surreal.
