Oh! The excitement!

I am terribly aggrieved to hear of the difficulties you seventh years had with your examinations. I cannot offer you any explanation, i'm afraid, as I have no personal hand in organising the papers - they come (as you would have read, here) from the ministry, and are presided over to a degree by Fudge. And as most of you will know, The Minister ( Read more... )

Professor, would you be able to make an exception to the sixth and seventh year partner rules for myself?

I realise that this is a big ask, but I do bring my spotless record and prefect status up as precedence for my impeccible behaviour.

Sadly, I alone do not having the casting vote in this. Technically, you should have words with your head of house, or Professor Snape, who recommended to me he be in charge of the enforcement of these guidelines.

However, considering that both of you have fairly blemishless records as far as rule-breaking and so on goes...

Yes, I should think that will be fine. I would advise you to pay Snape Professor Snape a visit however, just so as he knows what to expect on the night.

Yours with trust,

Dumbledore, A

I apprechiate all you can do / are doing for me, Albus. And if you do convince that pig-headed leader of ours the Minister that I am indeed harmless, I would love coming back to Hogwarts next term.
I digress that if it becomes a hassle then hire Ms. Nymphadora Tonks in my place. I assure you she is fully capable as well as very enthusiastic about the job.
I vouch for her as her flatmate and good friend lover boyfriend.
(I also promise I did not write this with Ms. Tonks over my shoulder and prompting me to turn the job over to her.)
If she had any trouble or had to take a leave, I would be sure to step up in her place and give her a hand. Though I'm sure this will all be addressed when you meet with her for an interview.
