Fear no evil

I apologise to all of you for my lack of presence here in the 'digital world'. Things 'IRL' (haha! Do the rest of you not find muggle 'internet slang' to be most amusing? I know that I do!) have been consuming me entirely (quite literally, in the case of the giant venus fly trap Mdm. Sprout introduced me to on Sunday evening) and I simply haven' ( Read more... )

We're legal adults, sir, and you keep us here like we're children. We had lives outside of Hogwarts, you know, and you could really mess that up for us.

We only ask for notification of your whereabouts, Mr MacNair. We will not stop you living your lives.

It is for your own safety.

Perhaps it is time you had a second 'chat' with Mister Sneevely. I found my storeroom an utter mess this morning and I am sure it was not a student's doing.

Also, you and I should discuss the current Defense Against The Dark Arts position (and lack of appropriate Professors) as balancing two subjects to keep the students from the new werewolf and the loony with a bottle Professor Tonks and Professor Lupin in their current states has become quite a chore.

I had a sneaking suspicion your patience with teaching two separate subjects would soon wear thin, though I must confess i'm surprised that you're so willing to give up teaching Defense Against the Dark Arts.

As for Sneevely, perhaps you should have a word to him - after all, it is your storeroom he's laid waste to, no? Of course, if you wish me to be present, i'd be only too happy to oblige.

Yours expectantly,

You've misunderstood me sir, I fear. It's not that I'm all too eager to give up the DADA position it is rather the fear that my Potions work is lagging behind since DADA is a new teaching experience and thus ripe and grabbing my attention.

It only seems appropriate that the actual Professors hired to take the position uphold it.

I will make an appointment with Sneevely, if you are unavailable I am sure I can handle him on my own.

Thank you for your time.

Well, Tonks certainly won't be able to return to the position for awhile, though perhaps she could do a little marking and so fourth whilst tending to Cirus. And er...i'm not entirely sure Remus is in a fit state to teach, currently. Perhaps I had best pay them both a visit.

Do let me know how you get along with Sneevely, won't you?
