I also have big love for Possum Chile. I gather that Illyria has become whack-off material - which she only was for Conner in Season 5. Now he's not interested and she is? I'm mystified. But not enough to read the f'ing things.

Pretty much! One of the Bill Wills -- I can't remember which one -- wrote an issue in which Illyria approached Angel and asked his permission to seduce Connor and get pregnant with Connor's baby. The Bill had such a poor grasp of Illyria's voice that it sounded nothing like her, and nothing came of it: she crawled into Connor's bed, the Bill's version of Connor said okay, Illyria's butt filled a couple of panels, and then she changed her mind and crawled back out in a pointless dick-tease moment.

Hee, possums will always trump the Eddie Hopes of the world!
