And then, when I had made an opening sufficient for my head, I put in a dark lantern all closed, closed so that no light shone out, and then I thrust in my head. Oh, you would have laughed to see how cunningly I thrust it in! I moved it slowly, very, very slowly, so that I might not disturb the old man's sleep. I hate kids who think being "random" is super cool. They sit there at lunch and they're like "HEY GUISE... CHEESE!" and they're wearing some retarded shirt from Hot Topic and all of their friends think that it's hilarious and I hate all of them. The kid for being an idiot and his friends for encouraging him and being idiots.

FOR REAL. They're so kooky and random and shit. I remember I went through a subtle phase like that when I was 11, but I was in 6th grade and shit. These kids are in high school.

The saddest part is that there are kids in MY grade who still do it. It's like, "You guys, it wasn't funny in 6th grade and it's still not funny in your senior year." Most of the kids are total band geeks, rofl.

It's kind of weird that you're reading the Tell-Tale Heart in Ap Lit. That's like...8th grade level.

I thought so too, apparently we read it in the 8th grade but I didn't remember it/don't think I read it. School just started, so I guess that's why we're reading it. Otherwise, *shrugs*
