Seely wasn't really used to staying in hotels, but since his room had a hot tub, he was sure that he'd manage to cope, especially after weeks of sleeping and showering in the barracks.

Right now he was sprawled out on the bed, enjoying the softness.

For the first time since he'd arrived for Basic, Seely had five minutes to himself. More importantly, in addition to the five minutes, he also had a phone, and a reasonable assurance that no one was going to either overhear or interrupt him.

Frowning slightly as the morning light hit his face, Seely muttered something about scurvy curtains and cuddled in closer to the warm body next to him, screwing his eyes shut.

Thankful to be back inside where there was central heating and no heavy lifting to be done, Seely was flopped out on his bed reading a comic. He wasn't sure what kind of writer thought a colour made for a good superhero weakness though.

Dressed in a new suit, Seely was trying something a little different tonight. He'd spent the entire afternoon preparing, and as a result, his bed and a large part of the room was now part of a massive pillow-fort.

This was going to be an awesome anniversary.

After making it back to his room after his encounter on the beach, Seely had strapped his ribs and taken some painkillers.

Currently he was trying to nap and not jostle his chest.

Seely had intended on spending the day on a picnic with Aravis, but instead he was sittings on his bed, reading a comic, occasionally casting a sulky glare out the window. Stupid ash ruining his picnic plans.
