It seems as though I am one of the only people my age who enjoys homework. As I wade further and further into Junior year I become more and more excited at the prospect of doing my work. Perhaps I am completely crazy...but then crazy would mean enjoying the aquisition of knowledge ( Read more... )

when i read life of pi, i had a pencil with me at all time and took notes in the margins and underlined about a million passages. i love doing that with books.

While I do sincerely agree with you about the pursuit of knowledge, I sometimes find the assignments given out by my teachers to be slightly less than helpful. While I do find reading assignments to quite often be enjoyable, filling out 20 pages of a chemistry packet with an insane amount of repetition does not exite me. I often find homework, atleast in my school, as a method teachers use to simply keep students minds on the subject without allowing them to unlock more knowledge about. If my homework where always as engadging as some of my more interesting assignments, I would never dislike doing my homework.
