If I hear one more person say that women are happy to be unfairly compensated so long as they get extra pats on the back, I'll do nothing at all, like always.
BBC is saying we could have have evolved from Martian life. I say it's less unlikely we evolved from Martian death - from a virus, or other gene fragment, that invaded something inanimate and made it animate. Wouldn't that be a cool movie?

I suspect that having a DNA sample from an 200-million-year-old animal would not be enough to tell what it looked like (let alone clone it) because most animals depend upon millions of other organisms, each of which has its own DNA.
