Movie recs and other random bits of life
My dad said he couldn't believe I haven't seen 'Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon' or 'House of Flying Daggers' before, so I got them out. They were both excellent and beautiful and I loved Ziyi Zhang and the other actors. Though you probably wouldn't watch them if you wanted cheering up. hmm... interesting question. I would donate to a charity, or non-profit organisation that I supported, or give/lend it to a friend who needed it or could benefact from it. -
Book Rec: Children of the Dust by Louise Lawrence
For English we are studying 'Children of the Dust' by Louise Lawrence. If you haven't read it yet, you really should.
At times it was very bleak and depressing, but the way it finishes, and Part Three of the novel, definetely makes it worth your while.

Wow, it's been a LOOONG time. but I feel the need to vent. My mum has really bad hay fever. as in, she has to have injections once a month for the rest of her life, for her to be able to function properly.
