Trying this out with just two books this time. I'm thinking of switching my list to this format, using goodreads...

Hey, I love the format of those reviews! How does that work -- does goodreads generate the code for you, or are you directly linking to goodreads, or what?

Should I go and get a goodreads account and write a book review and post it to LJ in the 20 minutes before Dave and Callum get home and I have to go be a responsible mom again?

Heee, yes! You should get a goodreads account, if only to share what you read. It's nice and easy to use.

As for the code, goodreads generate it for you whenever you edit then save a review. I tweaked the coding a little so that it didn't look weird on LJ, but it's easy and saves so much time. :) It means I don't have to repeat myself.

*hugs*

Haha, I'm looking at their frontpage right now, and Twilight (book 1) shows up as one of the five best books of all time and also one of the five worst books of all time. Hee.

Oh hey! Like all my social media apart from LJ, I've completely failed at Good Reads, so the fact that I haven't responded to your invite is that I haven't been on there at all. I suck at some stuff....

Just wanted to say, I've read a couple of Steve Kluger's books, and The Last Days of Summer is fricken amazing, so check it out too. I should read this new one.

Hee, it's okay! I understand failing at other social media. I have a google blog I haven't updated in months, and I tend to forget I have a Twitter account most days. ;)

I'm adding other Kluger books to my amazon.ca wishlist, so hopefully, I'll get to them eventually! (I'm going to look if they have them at my library, but I doubt it)

I *loved* Almost Like Being in Love! It was a lot of fun. :-D

And I even gave a copy of it to CJ for Christmas one year. (And then read it afterwards...go figure.)
