Just woke up. I had a fairly vivid dream involving a bunch of people I know from high school and grade school. In the dream we were all on some sort of field trip. ...and I'm off. Due to the weather enfuckment, I decided to go over the Sierras via Rt 50- which worked out decently but added 100 miles or so to my trip. I took the 101 up to I-80 through Sacramento where I picked up 50- then over to Fallon in Nevada and down Rt 95 to Tonopah, where I am now. Today is Christine's birthday. I really miss her. I got her a gift certificate to a particularly swanky spa in Palo Alto for her birthday, which I hope she is able to enjoy. We're going to be visiting Prague, Budapest and Bratislava in addition to seeing a bit of Vienna.

Really looking forward to seeing her. It has been a while.

So I still miss Christine a lot. And I miss our menagerie of felines and ferrets. I do very little these days aside from work, read, eat and sleep. I haven't seen almost any of Vienna, and aside from my roommate Sean, I have very little in the way of social contact.
